Canal+ customers in French overseas departments can benefit from a SmartHome offer including “Ma CanalBox” application, a connected objects starter kit, and a multi-protocol hub. They can also manage the Wi-Fi of their box via the mobile application.

The Matter project, previously known as CHIP (Connected Home over IP), aims to make a large choice of connected devices interoperable in order to facilitate and secure smart home experience for users. This new global IoT standard has been implemented by all the key players of the market. Like Apple, Google, Amazon or IKEA, Otodo is proud to be one of the participants in charge of the definition of this new global standard and to be the co-founder of the Matter’s European Interest Group.

Otodo has already integrated this new Smart Home protocol into the Hub-MZ product and in number of telecom boxes. The current version of the Matter standard supports many device types:
