Otodo au CES 2023 Janvier 2023 | Event CES 2023, Otodo de retour après 3ans d’absence Après de longues années de pandémie, le monde entier est revenu à Las Vegas pour cette édition 2023 du plus grand salon mondial de l’innovation grand public. Otodo était présent sur les stands de Sagemcom et de Nagra, avec deux démonstrations « live » de ses produits. Chez Sagemcom, nous avons présenté une gateway IP pré-certifiée MATTER, intégrant un composant logiciel MATTER1.0 développé en étroite collaboration avec Sagemcom et utilisant des accessoires de différentes marques. A cette occasion nous avons pu tester avec succès la compatibilité de notre environnement avec les objets EVE issus du monde Apple Homekit. Chez Nagra, nous avons montré l’intégration dans une unique box IP d’une solution complète « Smart Home » couplée à des fonctions avancées de sécurité des données et de contrôle parental développées par Nagra, le tout dans l’univers digital domestique « CANALBOX » de Canal+ Telecom. Otodo at CES 2023 January 2023 | Event CES 2023, Otodo is back after 3 years of absence After many years of pandemic, the world returned to Las Vegas for the 2023 edition of the world’s largest consumer innovation show. Otodo was present at the Sagemcom and Nagra booths, with two live demonstrations of its products. At Sagemcom, we presented a MATTER pre-certified IP gateway, integrating a MATTER1.0 software component developed in close collaboration with Sagemcom and using accessories from different brands. On this occasion we were able to successfully test the compatibility of our environment with EVE objects from the Apple Homekit world. At Nagra, we demonstrated the integration in a single IP box of a complete “Smart Home” solution coupled with advanced data security and parental control functions developed by Nagra, all within the “CANALBOX” digital home universe of Canal+ Telecom. Showcasing UGO at CES January 2018 | Event Las Vegas all the way for Otodo in 2018 It was during the 2018 edition of CES, a key event for technological innovation in consumer electronics, that we presented Ugo for the first time. Otodo’s first CES event was a success with the showcasing of Ugo, Otodo’s Magic Wand, at our partners’ booths: Sagemcom, MicroEJ and 4mod. There were visits from Mounir Mahjoubi, Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, and also from Valérie Pécresse, President of the Ile-de-France Region. Sagemcom acquires a capital stake April 2018 | Partnership At the SIDO Exhibition in April 2018, we announced Sagemcom’s entry into our capital structure. Sagemcom is the European leader on the market of high value-added communicating terminals, and has a 20% stake in Otodo’s capital. Sagemcom, a partner of international scope Sagemcom is a French high-tech Group that is international in scope and operates in broadband markets (set-top boxes, residential gateways, multimedia terminals), smart city (end-to-end solutions for smart metering and smart grid) and the Internet of Things (founding member of the LoRa Alliance). Sagemcom has a turnover of over €1.8 billion, and employs 4,000 personnel on five continents. The company aims to remain a world leader in high value-added communicating terminals. A financial commitment coupled with a strategic commercial partnership. In addition to a 20% stake, a strategic alliance between the two companies for the manufacture and marketing of the Otodo solution in France and internationally has been signed. “This operation, which is accompanied by a marketing agreement, strengthens the range of solutions we are able to offer our operator customers. Otodo at SIDO 2018 April 2018 | Event In April 2016, Otodo first attended SIdO. At that time, the company had not yet been created, but the idea was already taking shape. This exhibition, a major event in the ecosystem, provided an opportunity for Otodo to forge its first partnerships. At the third SIdO Exhibition in April 2017, the company was only a few months old. Participating at SIdO was an effective springboard for us to gain visibility for our solution, and was the most suitable place for our first show. For the second year in a row we were at SIdO, the Internet of Things Exhibition. We had our own stand, and were also at the stand of our partner, Orange. This event was an opportunity for us to present our Otodo One solution and Ugo, our universal remote control. Otodo at CES 2019 January 2019 | Event CES 2019, a successful second edition While the CES, a global event for consumer innovation, opened its doors for the 52nd time, it was Otodo’s second edition, with a presence in the smart home market place at Sands Expo. But also within the Sagemcom ballroom, located at the Venetian. So we started our year in Las Vegas, from January 8 to 11, to introduce you to our solution and new features. This year we were one of the 400 start-ups representing La French Tech! A streamlined user experience: The pairing step is made easier with the ability to activate automatic discoveries of devices ( recognition of objects by RF, barcode or video). Otodo & Groupe Renault at the CES January 2019 | Event Otodo & Renault : The connectivity solution between car and home Otodo & Renault Group preview a “car to home” connectivity solution. This unexpected collaboration ensures a secure connection between Renault vehicles and users’ homes. For this 2020 edition, Otodo had a special guest on its stand with a live demonstration that you should not miss. Otodo and the Renault Group indeed presented a preview of a connectivity solution between the car and the home. This new service is a joint creation between the teams of Groupe Renault and Otodo. The universal Otodo platform is the technological core of this new service and allows to build the secure, authentication-based link between the car and the connected objects at home. Otodo has been developing a technology platform that remote-controls a wide variety of home appliances and connected objects, in various countries, since 2016. With this new application, Otodo’s technology will also handle instructions sent directly from a car. “Our platform has enabled Groupe Renault to create a simple and universal link between smart cars and smart homes, that works across brands and technologies. CHIP Project: Otodo early member of the project Connected Home Over IP June 2020 | Partnerships Otodo, member of the Connected Home Over IP project Connected Home Over IP (or CHIP) is a new protocol initiated by internet giants Google, Amazon, Apple. Many companies are continuously joining the CHIP project proving the relevance and interest for the new standard. The standard which will be released at the end of 2020 will allow devices of different brands, which will adopt this standard, to communicate natively with each other and improve their interoperability. The end user will be able to manage objects from different vendors together without any need for additional configuration. First French Startup to join the CHIP project Otodo is a member of several CHIP expert groups (the Tiger Team) and aims to launch its “CHIP solution” compatible as soon as possible, once the standard has been ratified. This solution will be proposed as a technological feature to its partners to help them to quickly integrate CHIP into their products. Otodo has already gained a significant experience in the Smart Home market. With its white-label platform designed to enable telecom operators to launch Smart Home services quickly, Otodo has worked for democratization based on simplicity and accessibility. With an ecosystem of 40 partners, key players in Smart Home, Otodo brings together a number of communication protocols in its platform and thus offers integration with the connected devices and objects of many brands. Thanks to certifications obtained by Google and Amazon as a platform enabling voice control of the connected home, Otodo offers a voice interface even for devices that had not yet integrated this capability.
