Otodo, member of the Matter alliance

The Matter project, formerly known as CHIP (Connected Home over IP), aims to make as many connected objects as possible interoperable, in order to enhance their compatibility and facilitate the Smart Home experience for users.
This new global IoT standard has been set up by all the major players in the Smart Home market. Alongside Apple, Google, Amazon and IKEA, Otodo is proud to be part of this organization in charge of defining a new global standard, and to be a co-founder of the corresponding European group.
Otodo has already integrated this new Smart Home protocol into the Hub-MZ and several telecom box models. The current version of the Matter standard supports many different types of device:
- Lights
- Sockets and switches
- Heating and air conditioning
- Shading
- Motion and opening sensors
- Locks
- Multimedia players
- Controllers and connection bridges

The Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) is an organization of hundreds of companies that create, maintain and deliver open global standards for the Internet of Things (IoT). Formerly known as the Zigbee Alliance, CSA will continue to develop the Zigbee technology and brand.
