Otodo & Renault: Connecting car and home

The two companies previewed a connectivity solution "between car and home". This unprecedented collaboration ensures a secure connection between Renault vehicles and users' homes.

For this 2020 edition, Otodo had a distinguished guest on its stand, accompanied by a live demonstration that was not to be missed.

Otodo and Groupe Renault have previewed a connectivity solution between car and home. This new service is a joint creation by Groupe Renault and Otodo teams. The Otodo universal platform is the technological foundation of this new service, creating the authenticated and secure link between the car and connected objects in the home. Since 2016, Otodo has in fact developed a technological platform enabling remote control of a wide variety of connected objects and household equipment in many countries. With this new application, Otodo will enable the execution of instructions triggered directly from the car.

This new service will be available in 2020, for all new Zoé, Clio and Captur models equipped with the Easylink multimedia panel.
